Professionally
- Was born (1967) and bred in Bruges, but has been living in Ghent since 1987.
- Graduated in 1994 as an interior designer: initially as a collaborator of Alexis, who is an important source of inspiration for him when it comes to ecological architecture, later in collaboration with other architects.
- Became increasingly convinced of the social relevance of ecological architecture, and followed a training in development-aid.
- Is a province official, but also a passionate photographer, musician and traveller.
