Construction of a Rwandan village in the recreation area ‘Puyenbroek’

Domus Mundi takes care of the technical support of the construction of a ‘Rwandan Village’ in the Belgian recreation area ‘Puyenbroek’. Three loam country houses and a little school are built. The school will later be used as a polyvalent space, so a decent isolation is indispensable.

For this space, the traditional building style is combined with ecological architectural fireworks, in order to bring about a real low-energy building. It is a consciousness-raising project about the Rwandan country life on the one hand, and about bio-ecological building techniques on the other hand. Domus Mundi brings about the building concept and the technical support.
